Gingerbread Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 1 bag microwave popcorn
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Microwave the popcorn according to the package instructions. Transfer it to a large bowl, removing any unpopped kernels.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
  • Stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Cook gently for about 1–2 minutes until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is fragrant.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Drizzle the gingerbread butter over the popped popcorn. Toss gently to coat the popcorn evenly.
